Put simply, the cost of living in Turkey in general is far cheaper than that of other countries, therefore surgical procedures also cost substantially less. However, these lower prices are in no way a measure of quality. I urge anyone to jump on Google and search for 'celebrity hair transplants' and compare the results with those of Turkish clinics, where you'll find that hair transplants performed in Turkey are no different to those performed in other countries - you probably find that hair transplants in Turkey are actually a lot better!

When researching hair transplants in Turkey you may come across certain articles that speak negatively about this destination. However please don't be put off by these articles, as they are simple not true. In my opinion the reason why these articles exist is simple - Turkey are 'smashing it' in the area of hair restoration surgery. Of course, doing your research on clinics is paramount when considering any hair transplant, but this principle should apply regardless of the country of origin. Famous faces such as Calum Best have even been to Turkey for hair restoration surgery, which should say it all!

HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE TO RECOVER FROM A HAIR TRANSPLANT?

From my experience I was really surprised, as not only did I experience minimal swelling and redness, but my hair looked better than it did before the surgery in only a few days. It also took me less than a week for me to be back to my normal routine. 3-4 weeks after the surgery it was like I never had the procedure whatsoever, which I wasn't expecting at all!
